I’m Dodger2054 — aka Bpivat. Both names are the same person, openly: the handle for signing, the GitHub username as the bridge to my public contributions.

The name is from Shadowrun: Dodger, the elf decker, and 2054, the year. A wink — but also a stance: privacy and autonomy in the face of large systems.

What I do here

I’m not a developer. I’m someone who likes to understand the why and make it legible: why Monero is designed the way it is, why a given architectural decision was made or rejected, why some crypto promises don’t hold at an individual’s scale. Much of that reasoning is buried in ten years of logs and forums; I try to turn it into clear, citable pieces — for people who, like me, want to grasp the substance without being programmers.

What I care about

Privacy as a default right, not an option. Sovereignty: owning your data, your money and your tools rather than renting them from third parties. Honest decentralization — without overselling what it can’t yet do.

I run my own nodes (Storj, Monero), I self-host, and this site is part of that: it lives on my machine, at home, with no trackers, no external fonts, no scripts. Consistency starts at home.
